2023 Acura RDX vs 2022 Acura RDX
Serving San Juan, TX
The Acura RDX has been a top contender for San Juan-area shoppers interested in a premium crossover. In 2022, the RDX significantly improved its performance equipment, appearance, and feature list. The 2023 Acura RDX is a carryover model identical to its 2022 counterpart in all areas. However, the latest RDX is now available with a subscription to AcuraLink remote services for three years and 24 months of complimentary auto maintenance services. Our Acura of the Rio Grande Valley associates are happy to provide you with more details about this luxury crossover.
Performance
The 2022 and 2023 Acura RDX models have a single powertrain option - a four-cylinder, 2.0-liter turbo engine paired with a 10-speed automatic transmission. This pairing produces 272 horsepower. The first two trims in the lineup have front-wheel drive, and the remaining two trims are designed with all-wheel drive. In addition, the Advance and A-Spec Advance trims feature adaptive suspension dampers to produce a more comfortable ride and elevate handling.
Appearance
The updated RDX style introduced in 2022 carries over to the 2023 RDX without change. This crossover combines modern elegance and athleticism throughout its facade. The profile is confidently angled, and the sides have a forward-facing stance with lean, angled definition lines. On the nose, a crease runs through the pentagon grille and bumper. The vertical air vents make a powerful statement and are directly below the multi-elemental, jewel-like headlights. Both model years are available with a panoramic roof with tilt and slide functionality, 19-inch wheels, or more extensive, insulated windows, fog lights, and power-folding side-view mirrors.
Features
The 2022 and 2023 RDX crossovers are equally well-outfitted, with exciting safety and cabin features across the trim levels. The base trim for both years offers heated front seats, synthetic leather material, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a wireless hotspot, paddle shifters, a dual-zone climate control system, traffic sign recognition, and a touch control pad with a 10.2-inch central display screen. The RDX's higher trims offer even more features, such as heated rear seats, a surround-view camera, a heated steering wheel, a head-up display, an ELS sound system with 16 speakers, leather and suede material, a wireless charging pad, parking sensors, and many other exceptional features.
Our inventory at Acura of the Rio Grande Valley is replenished frequently, so you can usually find a solid selection of crossovers in stock to explore. Please drop by our vast showroom soon to continue learning about the impressive RDX.
